Upon Harbor stands on the bank of the Tagus, on Baía do Seixal, in the historic Mundet cork factory complex. Founded in 1905 and closed in 1988, Mundet was once the largest cork processor in the world, and its story still shapes the character of today’s Seixal.
Architecture and concept
The design keeps the memory of the industrial site, combining cork, metal and glass. Warm natural materials meet the strong lines of the original factory, creating interiors with a distinct sense of place that few new developments can offer.
Apartments
Upon Harbor comprises 102 apartments from T0 to T3, including lofts and duplexes, suited to couples and families. The hotel service concept makes them practical for both short and longer stays.
Services and infrastructure
Residents and guests have a rooftop pool, the Ebulição restaurant with Portuguese cuisine, a gym, spaces for meetings and events, and daily housekeeping. The location on the bay gives open views over the river and towards Lisbon, which is reachable by ferry in about 16 minutes.
Location and lifestyle
Seixal is a riverside town on the south bank of the Tagus, with a strong connection to the water and a growing waterfront. It offers a calmer pace than the capital while keeping Lisbon within easy reach.
Considering the tourist format
Upon Harbor is best understood as a concept of apartments with hotel service on the bank of the Tagus. If you are considering a property purchase in Seixal itself, Líder Portugal will help establish whether there is an offer to sell individual apartments, and check their use and terms of occupation before you decide.
Who it is for
Buyers and investors who value a branded, serviced property close to Lisbon. Guests and second-home seekers drawn to a riverside setting with on-site facilities.
