Vila Tijolo continues the story of workers’ housing built in 1891–1893 for employees of Fábrica da Fonte Santa, also known as Cerâmicas Junça. The distinctive exposed-brick façade keeps the memory of Lisboa’s industrial past. The new residential project combines the historic Vila do Tijolo block, an Art Déco house and a group of townhouses.
