Santa Marinha and the history of the Douro
Vintage 18 belongs to Santa Marinha Design District in Vila Nova de Gaia. The concept links contemporary living with the history of wine cellars and the Douro, reinterpreting Art Déco aesthetics and the 1920s. In the district a residential rhythm combines with Gaia’s cultural routes, wine history and a waterfront setting.
80 apartments in different formats
Official materials present 80 T1–T4 apartments, including T2, T3 and T4 duplex. Total private area in the starting concept covers about 61–354 m²; this is not a range of interior living area alone. The variety of layouts makes it possible to choose a home for a couple, a family, guests or working from home.
Advantages and features
Balconies and garden apartments
The brochure highlights several living concepts. In Homes, generous gourmet balconies are linked to the apartment’s social areas. The Terrace format provides private gardens as an extension of the interior. These are different outdoor-space scenarios, so the characteristics of one format should not be applied to every fraction.
Vintage Club for residents
Shared spaces include an indoor pool, a gym, Kids Club, a lounge and Wine Club. Wine Club became the central design theme of the shared rooms: by day these spaces can be used for quiet work, in the evening for meetings and socialising. Kids Club has a link to the outdoor area and spaces for adults.
Different ways to live at Vintage 18
Homes and Terrace help compare two ways of using outdoor space: a balcony linked to the social area, and a private garden. Duplex apartments add a further criterion — the distribution of rooms between floors. For a family this is a chance to choose the right degree of bedroom separation; for a second-home buyer, to think through guest placement and a place for shared leisure.
Choosing an apartment with character
Vintage 18 may interest buyers relocating, seeking a second home or family living, for whom a distinctive interior and the building’s service amenities matter.
